Biography

Katherine (she/her) Gatons (Gā-tons) currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana that has received B.F.A in Photography from the Herron School of Art and Design, Indiana University. She prefers the title of image maker over photographer because she does more than take pictures, she creates a scene. 

 

Many of her images are based on the idea of fictional stories (i.e. fairytales, myths, legends and idioms). Katherine is currently working on many projects that bring her joy and trying to find her way back to digital media. That includes her past trips to Walt Disney World and vibrant lights in the night.
